Back from Hiatus

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been absent from here for almost a year now and regret not keeping up to date with everyone's posts. This year has been busy. Good news is I've got a new job that will hopefully bring me closer to my dreams ;D . I haven't done much painting at all this year, but I have been doing loads of sketching. Before, I didn't sketch very much but this year is probably the most sketching I've done in my whole life haha, it's great. I've got so many things I want to paint---so many new ideas, so I'll definitely be more active on here.

.:Broken Laptop+Collabs Anyone?:.

 I know I haven't updated for a while, but I have a totally legit excuse! My  precious laptop broke, so no cging for me TT v TT
Ahhh it was such a sad, sad day. I don't have money to buy a new one so my sister is sharing hers with me. That doesn't mean I haven't been drawing though. Do you guys mind seeing sketch/wip dumps and all that ? I'm planning to draw way more than ever this year, and really improve my skills. I also wanna experiment a lot with different styles and really get out of my comfort zone. So there might be some very inconsistent posts in the future. Also would anyone like to do a collab? I love collabs and how neat it is seeing 2 different styles come together into a single piece. It's also a good way to expose both artist's works to different audiences. I'd love to do a few before conventions kick up again!  > u < Ohoh~ and how is everyone?

So Anime Revolution this past weekend was great! The first two days were a bit slow, but everything really picked up on the last day surprisingly. I got to say Hi to the voice actor of Tuxedo Mask from my table and the voice actress of Sailor Moon came around to visit the artists and she actually bought one of my Sailor Moon buttons > u < Ahhh //fangirls Though I should've asked her to sign my SM prints while she was at it D: AHHH WHAT WAS I THINKING!

Anyways, meet loads of super nice and pro artists there. Got in a few art trades and even :iconakirakirai: was nice enough to trade with me <33

Got some really sexy prints from :iconmlcamaro: and :iconmkage: for a really good price! MKage was super nice and gave me a really good discount. And for all the other artists I don't have dA names for who gave me free things and good discounts, thank you!

I will be attending Cos and Effect this coming weekend. Artist Alley is open to the public, so anyone who's in the area should come check it out ;D

Yay, finally got my table location for MiniComi :D My table will be at E7. This will be my first con in Vancouver so I'm kind of nervous yet excited :D Can't wait to meet new people and stalk pro artists. I actually haven't really prepared much for it at all because of all the moving business I've been doing. Oh right, so I'm moving to Vancouver, and after lots of searching and traveling, my friend and I finally found a place to move into and everything's just been settled so we'd be moving in on the first of July. That doesn't really give me much time to prep for the con but I guess I'll just fall back on selling the buttons I have left over from Tsukino Con and a few key chains I'll be making. Ughh I feel so lame. Hope my stuff is worthy enough for Vancouver. I guess I'll be testing waters at this one before the other 2 cons in August. Anyone who's in the area should come check it out! Free admissions~ :iconhurrplz:
